Karachi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Monday frozen the accounts of 117 employees of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) for hiring people with fake degrees.
According to media reports, FIA has recovered Rs90 million by freezing the accounts of the accused.
The agency has not only registered a case against 117 employees of the airline but also prepared challan against these employees, and the investigation report will be submitted to the court soon.
FIA sources stated that apart from assistant and supervisor posts, among those who got jobs in PIA on fake degrees, top officers of the Recruitment Board were also involved in hiring on the basis of fake degrees.
