Karachi: The renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Ehetram-ul-Haq Thanvi passed away in the United States, reported Sunday.
The son of Maulana Sadr-ul-Haq Thanvi, Mohtasham-ul-Haq confirmed the news and informed that the funeral prayers and burial of the deceased will be held at the Georgia Islamic Institute in Atlanta, United States.
According to reports, the scholar had been living in America for six months for cancer treatment.
Pertinently, Maulana Ehteram-ul-Haq Thanvi was the eldest son of Maulana Ehtesham-ul-Haq Thanvi.
