PM Imran Khan to address the nation at 7:30 pm
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the nation on Thursday (today) at 7:30 pm and expected to speak about the Senate elections.
According to the Prime Minister Office, Imran Khan is likely to take the nation into confidence on the prevailing political situation in the country.
The government will requisition a session of the National Assembly on Saturday at 12:15 pm for Imran Khan to seek a vote of confidence from the lawmakers.
Minister of Information, Shibli Faraz took to twitter and revealed that after holding consultations with senior party leaders they had decided to back Sadiq Sanjrani for the post of Senate chairperson again.

Moreover, the Pakistan Tehreek-eInsaf (PTI) will hold a meeting with its alliance members at 3:00 pm on Friday.
Earlier today, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed overall national and regional security situation.
