Maryam Nawaz slams PM Khan over vilifying Pakistan
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday lambasted Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan over vilifying and defaming Pakistan.

Maryam made these remarks in reaction to premier’s controversial statement in Iran in which he said that Pakistan’s soil was used against Iran for terrorism in the past.

“Vilifying & defaming your own country on foreign soil, sitting with foreign leaders, does not find a parallel in the national and diplomatic history. Imagine what the Iranian leadership would be thinking”, tweeted Maryam.

On the other hand, PML-N leader Dastgir—in session of National Assembly (NA)—apprised attendants that no premier had ever made such statements on foreign soil.

Expressing severe concerns and reservations, the PML-N lawmaker also apprised attendants that International Monetary Fund has linked bailout package with findings of the Financial Action Task Force.

Separately, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Hina Rabbani Khar added that such remarks were not funny anymore. She added that opposition was worried as government is continuously making Pakistan a laughing stock among international community.
