PM Imran to address public gathering in South Waziristan today
According to details, the premier will address a public meeting at Wana, for which the arrangements have been finalised. Troops of Khasadaar force, levies, scouts and military personnel have been deployed in the area to avoid any unforeseen incident.
In his address, Imran Khan is expected to announce a number of development projects for the area.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan will accompany the PM during his visit.
A large number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters and tribal elders are anticipated to participate in the gathering.
Meanwhile, tribal elders of South Waziristan have welcomed the visit of the PM. They have decided to warmly receive him in South Waziristan.
Last week, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that development of tribal districts and provision of basic facilities to tribal people were the top priorities of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) government.
