ATC hearing: Uzair Baloch denies allegations of killings
Karachi: Lyari gang war leader Uzair Baloch on Monday denied his involvement in killing of anyone during his hearing in an anti-terrorism court in Karachi.

The accused of killing 198 people including Arshad Pappu was brought to the court amid tight security for the hearing of 16 cases. Shahjahan Baloch and other suspects were also appeared during the hearing.

During the hearing, Uzair Baloch claimed that he had not given any confessional statement under Section 164 (Power to record statements and confessions) of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).

He accused the judicial magistrate of wrongdoing and faking.

The court asked if his statement will remain same during his appearance before the high court, at which, Uzair Baloch remained silent.

The court adjourned the hearing till last week of July due to non-appearance of defense lawyer.
