Imran Khan a threat to democracy, economy: Bilawal
Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Monday that public is being tricked by the federal government to divert attention from country’s economic condition.

Talking to media, the PPP chief said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is a threat to democracy and economy, adding that the premier has lost moral authority to run the government.

Crticising the long-delayed BRT project, he said that Maritimes Minister Ali Zaidi’s front man is also involved in the mass transit project.

Incumbent government must be held accountable, he said, adding that every ministry under the PTI government has been tainted by corruption.

“Whole Punjab is being run through magic and corruption,” he said, adding that polio campaign, Hajj and PIA were also affected by the government’s dishonest activities.

Transparency International has termed the PTI government as most corrupt, he said.

He challenged the government that Sindh leads other provinces with conducting most coronavirus test in the province.

He said that JUI-F amir Maulana Fazlur Rahman was serious to give tough time to the government, adding that multi-part conference will be convened as PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif recovered totally.

“The prime minister is fortunate that we have not taken to street,” he said and warned of launching protest if public is not provided relief.
