NAB requests court to freeze Asif Zardari’s Clifton house
According to details, NAB representative claimed Asif Ali Zardari used embezzled funds to purchase his Karachi’s Clifton residence and Rs. 15 crore was paid from the bank account of PPP leader’s stenographer Mushtaq.
As per NAB, they tried to interrogate the stenographer but he escaped.
It was further said that Zardari was given a questionnaire to submit his answers but he didn’t give any reply.
At a previous hearing, the court had granted time to anti-graft watchdog to submit its response to objections raised by former president Asif Ali Zardari against freezing his house in Clifton.
The bureau had initiated the process to confiscate the house number F-32 Clifton owned by PPP co-chairman.
