Pakistan’s Covid-19 recoveries pass 161,000
Islamabad: Pakistan’s coronavirus recoveries are now above 161,000 while the number of total confirmed cases has passed 251,625 in Pakistan on Monday.

According to National Command and Control Center (NCOC), more than 2,769 cases of coranavirus were reported while 69 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 5266.

As many as 5217 patients have recovered from the disease in last 24 hours taking the total number of recoveries to 161,917.

As per NCOC, around 22,523 tests were conducted in past one day.


After sharp increase in the cases, the number of patients swelled to 87,043 in the province. The province reported 2013 coronavirus (COVID-19) causalities.

A smart lockdown has been imposed across the province to stem the spread of the infection


The cases of infection have surged to 105,533 in the province, the most affected region in Pakistan. The death toll has reached to 1795 in the province.


There are 11,185 confirmed cases while 126 patients died of the infection so far.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The confirmed cases have surged to 30,486 in the province while the death toll has surged to 1099 in KPK.

AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

There are 1,671 coronavirus cases in the GB while 36 patients including a young doctor have died due to the infection. As many as 1319 people have recovered from the infection.

There are 1,599 cases in AJK while 44 deaths have been reported.


There are 14,108 cases in the capital city while 153 people have lost their lives. Around 5000 patients have recovered so far.
